Serving Suggestion: Mrs. Smith’s® Large Pumpkin Pie has small holes in the bottom of the pie pan to allow melted shortening to escape to prevent the crust from becoming soggy. The finished pie should always be placed on a serving platter, not directly onto tables or any tablecloths, as a residue will leave marks.

Q: Can I bake a Large Pumpkin Pie that has thawed in the refrigerator?
A: Our frozen pies are designed to bake from a frozen state; therefore, we do not recommend, nor can we guarantee the quality of, baking a pie that has thawed in the refrigerator.

Q: Can I bake two pies together?
A: Baking two pies together reduces the temperature in the oven, so there should be adjustments made. When baking two pies together, bake for 5-10 minutes in addition to what is stated in the regular directions on the carton. You may want to cover the edges in tin foil due to the extra heat. Since ovens vary, you will want to visually check the pies often during the baking process.
